Born and raised in the vibrant city of New York, he spent his formative years soaking up the diverse cultural landscape before embarking on his academic journey.
He attended Deerfield Academy in Massachusetts, where he honed his skills and laid the foundation for his future endeavors.
Upon completing his secondary education, he enrolled at Columbia University, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Film in the year 2001.
Following his graduation, he began to pursue his passion for filmmaking, writing and directing a total of four short films, each one a testament to his creativity and dedication.
His debut short film, "Four Lean Hounds," was a notable achievement, as it was directed immediately after his graduation from Columbia University.
He continued to push the boundaries of his craft, going on to direct "The Westerner" in 2010, as well as two other shorts, "_Yes_" and "_Citation_," each of which was made on a shoestring budget of just five hundred dollars.
As he gained experience and confidence in his abilities, he transitioned to feature films, marking a new chapter in his career as a writer and director.
In addition to his work in film, he is also a talented playwright, having penned a play entitled "Remission."
Today, he splits his time between the bustling cities of Los Angeles and New York, where he continues to hone his craft and push the boundaries of his art.
