Naveen Chandra is a renowned Indian actor, primarily active in the Telugu film industry. Prior to embarking on an acting career, Chandra acquired a diploma in mechanical engineering and worked as a multimedia animator.
His acting journey commenced with Sambhavami Yuge Yuge (2006),a Telugu film, followed by his Tamil debut in R. Pavan's Pazhaniappa Kalloori (2007). The same year, he appeared in Kalyanam, another Telugu movie.
Chandra's breakthrough role came with Andala Rakshasi (2012),a Telugu film directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. The film received widespread critical acclaim and commercial success, with Chandra's performance garnering immense praise.
Subsequent to this, Chandra appeared in Dalam (2013),Naa Rakumarudu (2014),Bramman (2014),Sarabham (2014),Koottam (2014),and Sivappu (2015),all of which were Tamil films.
For the following few years, Chandra focused primarily on Telugu films. His notable roles during this period include Bham Bolenath (2015),Lacchimdeviki O Lekkundi (2016),Devadas (2018),and Aravindha Sametha (2018),which happened to be the third-highest-grossing Telugu film of 2018.
Chandra also acted in the successful Tamil martial arts films Pattas (2020). He then appeared in Bhanumathi & Ramakrishna (2020),Ammu (2022),and Veera Simha Reddy (2023). Moreover, he played the lead role in the romance drama movie Mayagadu (2023),where critics praised his performance.
