Monika Mitchell is a multifaceted creative professional, renowned for her impressive body of work in both independent film and network television. Since her short film, Night Deposit, won the prestigious "Anarchy" Audience Award at Slamdance in January 2000, she has become a distinguished alumni of over 90 international film festivals, with her four independent films garnering an impressive 20 "Best Picture" or "Audience" awards throughout the years.

Mitchell's television career is equally diverse, spanning over a decade, starting with her work on Robson Arms in 2005. Her extensive episodic experience encompasses a wide range of genres, including one-hour procedurals, family dramas, single-camera half-hour comedies, and episodic documentary. Her portfolio of movies for television includes romantic comedies, mysteries, thrillers, and holiday fare.
