Miles is a multifaceted creative individual from Cornwall, boasting a rich background in the world of performing arts.
As an actor, Miles has honed his craft through training with esteemed institutions such as The National Youth Theatre and The Oxford School of Drama. His impressive acting credits include notable roles in ITV productions like Manhunt and Doc Martin.
Beyond his acting pursuits, Miles has also made a name for himself as a writer, with a plethora of commissions from reputable organizations like The BFI, BBC Radio 3, and Screen Cornwall. His writing skills have been further refined through participation in training schemes with the BBC Writersroom and BFI NETWORK@LFF.
Miles has had the opportunity to participate in writers' rooms and even led his own for his BFI YAC Funded series, The No Friends Club. His impressive work has not gone unnoticed, as he has recently been awarded another YAC Fund grant for a script commission, show bible, and writers' room, set to take place in 2022.
Miles is currently working on original series with Bandit Cornwall, which is currently in development with the BBC. His short film, Anoraks, can be found on BBC iPlayer and has received accolades, being selected for the LOCO Festival and LFF For Free.
