Miles Grose is a seasoned professional in the realm of sketch and improv comedy, boasting an impressive background that has been shaped by his experiences in the vibrant comedy scenes of New York City and Los Angeles.
As a native New Yorker, Miles had the privilege of studying under the guidance of renowned comedy guru Steve Kaplan at The Manhattan Punchline Theater and esteemed Second City alumnus Martin Friedberg at The Original Improv. During his time in New York, he became a regular fixture on the sketch scene, performing at iconic comedy clubs such as The Comic Strip, Stand Up NY, and The New York Comedy Club.
Miles' transition to Los Angeles marked a new chapter in his career, as he continued to hone his skills in the world of improv. He studied at The Groundlings and performed with the Bravo Company at The ACME Comedy Theater. In addition, he was a member of the sketch group Yo' Mel, which regularly featured at The Comedy Store, and Hold The Cream, a sketch group that performed weekly at The Comedy Underground in Santa Monica.
Throughout his career, Miles has appeared in numerous live shows, commercials, and shorts, as well as TV and film productions. One of his most notable roles was his recurring part as Omar Al Farouq on The Onion News Network, for which he received critical acclaim.
As a writer, Miles has worked on a wide range of projects for various networks and production companies, including NBC, Netflix, Fuse TV, and Funny Or Die. In addition to his work as a writer and performer, Miles has also forged a successful partnership with comedian JB Smoove, with whom he has created numerous commercial and theatrical projects.
