Michael Morano was born in Poughkeepsie, New York to Italian-American parents, Loreta Marcinelli and Allie Morano Sr. His childhood was shaped by his Italian immigrant grandparents, who settled in Mt. Carmel Square's Little Italy after leaving their homeland. As a teenager, Morano began his career as a musician, singing and playing drums throughout the Hudson Valley. He then pursued acting in New York City, studying under renowned instructors Edward Morehouse at HB Studio and Roger Simon at Roger Simon Studio.
Following a string of stage appearances, Morano's interest shifted towards the film industry. At the age of twenty, he embarked on a 3,000-mile journey to Hollywood, California, where he signed with Commercials Unlimited Talent Agency and landed over 20 national commercials, including notable brands like Burger King, Levis, Sprite, and Budweiser. C.E.D Talent Agency, now C.E.S.D, soon took notice of his talent and offered him a contract.
However, Morano's career was put on hold due to an unexpected development. He returned to New York and devoted himself to raising his newborn son, balancing fatherhood with frequent travels to New York City for his acting career. At that time, Morano was under contract with the Norelco Company, which he fulfilled before putting his career on pause to focus on his son until he turned twenty-one.
Now in his fifties, Morano has returned to Hollywood, California, determined to revive his acting career. He has expanded his skills to include screenwriting, completing numerous screenplays, pilots, and acting in films such as "A Brooklyn Love Story", "Wrong For Right", "Palmdale", "Her Bodyguard", "Insight", and "Bride+1". He has also written, directed, and starred in his short film/music video "No One Ever Tells You".
As a vocalist and entertainer, Morano has performed his one-man show "A Night of Sinatra" on various stages in the Los Angeles area, including the renowned Herb Albert's Vibrato Jazz and Grill. Throughout his journey, Morano has persevered through life's challenges, remaining committed to his craft and continuing to create new and innovative works.
