Michael Anthony Jr. was born on August 28, 1980, in Vancouver, Washington, but he spent most of his childhood in Portland, Oregon. He attended Cleveland High School, where he was a standout player on the varsity basketball team, just like Nike founder Phil Knight, who also attended the same school.
After graduating from high school, Michael went on to attend Skyline Community College in California, where he focused on his academic and athletic pursuits. He received a full-ride scholarship to the University of West Georgia, where he majored in psychology and graduated with honors.
Following college, Michael faced a crucial decision about his future. His passion for filmmaking led him to Atlanta, where he pursued a career in TV production. As a certified producer by the People TV Network, he created, wrote, and hosted the popular web series "The MAS & More Show," which was loosely based on his own life. The show received widespread acclaim, earning him three prestigious awards from the Turner Broadcasting Network: Producer of the Year, Best Overall Production Values, and Best Programming Entertainment.
Encouraged by the success of "The MAS & More Show," Michael decided to further develop his on-camera skills. He relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he enrolled at the Second City Improv. In his free time, he performed stand-up comedy, booked commercial and print campaigns, and starred in several independent films. His success in Vegas earned him a spot in the Screen Actors Guild (SAG).
With his newfound status, Michael made the move to Hollywood, where he is now signed with DDO Artists Agency. He has appeared in several projects, including the Amazon Prime series "Brown Paper Bag" and supporting roles in two new pilots: "Licensed to Chill," where he plays the ex-husband Bobby, and "Wrong for Right," where he portrays defense lawyer Larry Denton.
