Megha Akash is an Indian actress who has primarily worked in Tamil and Telugu films, showcasing her versatility and range in various genres.
Born and raised in Chennai, Megha studied at Lady Andal School and later graduated with a degree in BSc Visual Communications from Women's Christian College, Chennai.
Megha made her acting debut in the Telugu action thriller LIE (2017),playing the role of Chaitra alongside Nithiin. She then ventured into the Tamil film industry with the action drama Petta (2019),starring alongside the legendary Rajinikanth.
In 2019, Megha had a remarkable year, with five film releases. These included Petta, Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven, Boomerang, Enai Noki Paayum Thota, and her debut Hindi action drama, Satellite Shankar, where she played the role of Pramila.
In 2020, Megha won the Reigning Princess Kollywood award at the Edison Awards for her outstanding performance in the Tamil romantic comedy Oru Pakka Kathai.
In 2021, Megha had four film releases. She starred alongside Gautham Vasudev Menon and Amala Paul in the Tamil romantic drama Kutty Story, played the role of Nikisha, a police officer, in her second Bollywood film, Radhe, alongside Salman Khan, Disha Patani, and Randeep Hooda, and appeared in the Telugu films Raja Raja Chora and Dear Megha.
Megha's recent releases include the Telugu romantic drama Gurthunda Seethakalam, where she played Divya, the Telugu film Premadesam, where she played Aadhya, and the Tamil sci-fi comedy-drama Single Shankarum Smartphone Simranum, where she played Simran.
In addition to her film career, Megha has also been a part of two music videos, Oru Chance Kudu and Thappu Pannitten.
