Megan Hui was born and raised in the vibrant city of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. At a remarkably young age of nine, she embarked on a journey that would shape her future, commencing her rhythmic gymnastics training. With unwavering dedication, she swiftly rose to prominence, earning the national silver medal, thereby qualifying her to represent Team Canada at the prestigious 2003 Pan American Games and World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships.
As she transitioned out of the competitive rhythmic gymnastics scene, Megan's thirst for creativity led her to explore the world of dance. During her studies at the University of British Columbia, where she pursued a degree in business, she began taking dance lessons. Upon completing her academic pursuits, Megan relocated to Los Angeles, where she immersed herself in the world of acting. Under the guidance of renowned coaches at esteemed studios such as The Actors Space, Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB Theatre),McIlroy & Associates, VADA, Crichlow Actors' Studio, and Lyric School of Acting, she honed her craft, eventually falling in love with the art of acting.
Since then, Megan has been cast in a diverse range of feature films, including The Before Time, Other Halves, Selfie Shootout, Rampage, and Alison's Choice, as well as television series such as iZombie. In addition to her acting endeavors, she has also expanded her skillset by incorporating martial arts into her training. With a strong presence in both Vancouver and Los Angeles, Megan continues to work tirelessly in the film and television industry, leaving a lasting impact with each new project she takes on.
