Matti Boustedt's journey in the world of drama began at the tender age of 12, when he made his debut in Staffan Götestam's adaptation of the play "Rasmus på Luffen". Since then, he has been an integral part of over 60 productions, including the popular Swedish TV series "Gåsmamman", the critically acclaimed comedy "Solsidan", and the Beck Films franchise.
Matti's recent credits include starring roles in internationally recognized and award-winning films such as Ali Abbasi's "Border", the Indian production "Dear Molly", and the Swedish Viking adventure "Draug". His impressive repertoire also includes voice acting work on films like "Toy Story 3", "Tingeling and the Pirate Fairy", and "Monsters University".
In addition to his on-screen accomplishments, Matti has also lent his voice to several successful computer games, including "Dice: Battlefield - Bad Company 2" and "Kane & Lynch 2". His impressive range has also led him to take on motion capture acting roles in various projects.
This spring, Matti is set to star in the TV film "The Road into the Darkness", which is scheduled to air on German ZDF. In this gripping production, he takes on the lead role of a policeman whose life begins to unravel like a house of cards, and he finds himself staring into the abyss.
Matti is also set to appear in the Swedish film "Mareld", which premiered in the fall of 2019, and has even contributed to the soundtrack by writing one of the songs featured in the film.
