Matthew originates from Orlando, Florida, where his enthusiasm for filmmaking became evident from a young age, commencing his career as a production manager at a commercial house in Central Florida and subsequently writing and directing four national commercials for esteemed clients including the renowned Walt Disney Company.
Subsequently, Matthew relocated to Los Angeles, further honing his skills in television series such as The Exorcist, featuring the talented Gina Davis, and most recently, "American Born Chinese", starring the accomplished Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan, and Stephanie Hsu. Additionally, he has written and directed an independent feature, "Paranormal Incident".
Matthew's impressive body of work can be observed on the big screen or streamed on popular platforms such as Netflix and Disney+, having collaborated with prominent studios including Disney, 20th, Bad Robot, FX, Warner Bros., CBS, Paramount, and Universal.
