Matt, a native of Longview, Texas, was born on January 9, 1959, and his journey in the world of acting began in high school. With a childhood dream of being in films and a passion for action and comedy, he started working in the industry in 1990, taking on both in-front-of and behind-the-camera roles.
However, his career in films was put on hold when his first child was born in 1993, and he returned to the workforce for a steady paycheck. It wasn't until 2015 that Matt felt a sense of guidance from God, nudging him back towards his passion for filmmaking.
As the doors began to open, Matt trusted in the divine plan, saying, "These doors, God opens and closes, I never questioned them." While not all of his films are classified as faith-based, they are all family-friendly, inspired by the wholesome content he enjoyed in his youth.
Ultimately, Matt hopes to inspire others with his work, sharing his philosophy of "Dream wild, inspire good, and love honestly."
