Mathias was born in the year 1970, specifically in the charming town of Ardooie. He then embarked on a journey to hone his craft, enrolling in the prestigious Conservatory in Brussels to receive professional actor's training. Today, he resides in the vibrant city of Ghent, where he shares his life with his loving spouse and their two precious children.
Mathias's impressive career has spanned numerous notable roles, with one of his most iconic parts being Ubi Stevens in the popular series "_Buiten de Zone_" (1995). His extensive repertoire also includes performances in esteemed productions such as "Diamant" and "W817", as well as guest appearances in almost every prominent Flemish television series, including "Flikken" and "Recht oprecht".
Mathias's breakthrough in the Flemish film industry arrived with the critically acclaimed movie "Ad Fundum" (1993),which was followed by a string of successful films, including "Iedereen Beroemd" (2000),"Team Spirit" (2000),and "Team Spirit II".
