Martin Weisz is a celebrated video and commercial director, renowned for his work on music videos for an extensive range of artists, including Brandy, Puff Daddy, Korn, Live, Crazytown, Sisqo, Nickelback, Fuel, Mel B, and JC Chasez, to name a few. By 2005, he had directed over 350 music videos, in addition to numerous commercials.
As a filmmaker, Martin Weisz ventured into feature films with the controversial GrimmLove (Rohtenburg),starring Keri Russell and Thomas Kretschmann. Although the movie was banned in Germany due to its subject matter, it went on to win numerous awards in the same year.
Martin Weisz's outstanding direction earned him the Best Director award at the prestigious Sitges Fantasy Film Festival in 2006 for Grimm Love. His subsequent feature film, The Hills Have Eyes II, is scheduled for release in March 2007.
