Martin, a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience in the film and television industry, has had the privilege of working on over 90 projects, including films and television shows, as a Sound Supervisor, Sound Designer, and Re-recording mixer.
His educational background is equally impressive, having graduated from the University of California at San Diego with a degree in Filmmaking and a minor in Psychology.
Martin's career in the film industry began with a credit on the Amblin Entertainment film Twister, where he worked as a Special Sound Designer.
Since then, he has worked on numerous independent films, as well as Summer Blockbusters, with a filmography that includes an impressive five films from the Marvel-Sony franchise Spider-Man, one of the top-grossing franchises of all time.
In addition to his work on blockbuster films, Martin was also part of the Skywalker Sound team that created the sound design for Marvel's Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness.
In the independent realm, Martin's work includes Sound FX Design on Sunshine Cleaning, an early film featuring the talented Amy Adams, Richard Linklater's social commentary Fast Food Nation, and the pulp anthem Idiocracy by Mike Judge, a fellow alumnus of The University of California at San Diego.
As an Adjunct Professor at USC's School of Cinematic Arts, Martin teaches sound design aesthetics and techniques to the next generation of Hollywood filmmakers.
In his personal life, Martin resides in Santa Monica, California.
