Tom Kenny, a renowned figure in the entertainment industry, was born and raised in East Syracuse, New York. During his childhood, he developed a passion for comic books, indulging in the creative expression of drawing humorous pictures and collecting records.
As he grew older, Tom's interest in the entertainment world only intensified, leading him to pursue a career in stand-up comedy in Boston and San Francisco. This venture proved to be a successful one, as he went on to appear on numerous cable shows that emerged during the stand-up comedy boom of the 1980s and 1990s.
Tom's impressive resume includes appearances on The Dennis Miller Show in 1992, The Pat Sajak Show in 1989, and Late Night with Conan O'Brien in 1993. He was also a regular on Fox TV's The Edge in 1992 and served as the host of NBC's Friday Night from 1983 to 1984.
In addition to his mainstream television appearances on Brotherly Love in 1995 and The Preston Episodes in 1995, Tom has also lent his voice to several animated characters. He is perhaps best known for his roles as "Heffer" the cow on Nickelodeon's Rocko's Modern Life in 1993 and as various characters on Nickelodeon's SpongeBob SquarePants in 1999.
