Mario Pupella was an Italian actor, theatre director, and art director born in Castelvetrano, Sicily, in 1945. His early career in theatre began at a remarkably young age, making his debut in Luigi Pirandello's "Henry the fifth". This initial success paved the way for him to become a mainstay on stage, taking on the roles of various characters in plays by renowned authors such as Plauto, Terenzio, Ben Jonson, and Molière.
