María Thelma, a talented actress, earned her degree from the Iceland Academy of Arts in 2016, marking the beginning of her illustrious career.
Immediately after graduation, she landed the role of Iris in the critically acclaimed TV series "Prisoners" (Fangar),showcasing her impressive acting skills to a wide audience.
In early 2017, María Thelma took on the lead role in the short film "Miss Iceland", which is set to premiere at the prestigious Reykjavík International Film Festival (RIFF).
Her feature film debut was in "Arctic", where she had the privilege of sharing the screen with the renowned Mads Mikkelsen. The film was selected as part of the "Official Selection" lineup at the esteemed Cannes Film Festival.
Currently, María Thelma is under contract at the National Theatre of Iceland, further solidifying her position as a prominent figure in the Icelandic entertainment industry.
