Renée Jeanne, also known as Maria Falconetti, was a renowned French actress of both stage and screen, born on July 21, 1892, in Pantin, France, and passing away on December 12, 1946, in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Renée Jeanne's illustrious career began in 1916 when she joined the esteemed Odeon theater troupe, making her debut in "l'Arlésienne". She went on to play the lead roles of Saint-Georges de Bouhélier's "The Life of a Woman" in 1919, showcasing her exceptional talent and range.
Subsequently, Renée Jeanne made a brief but notable appearance at the Comédie Française between 1924 and 1925, where she delivered captivating performances in productions such as "La Dame aux camélias" and "Lorenzaccio", showcasing her versatility as an actress.
