Biography

Manasi Rachh embarked on her journey in the world of performing arts with a small yet significant role in Manav Kaul's musical production, "Aisa kehte hain". In this endeavor, she portrayed the character of a young Sardar boy operating a tea stall called 'Chai'. Her experience in this production laid the foundation for her future endeavors.

Subsequently, she collaborated with Manav Kaul's company, Aranya, for another production titled "Bali aur Shambhu". In this play, she took on the role of Titli, the beautiful daughter of Sudhir Pandeys. This was followed by her portrayal of a wicked mother in Kashin Shetty's Thespo play, "Confessions". Her theatrical journey continued with her performance in Sunil Shanbag's adaptation of Rabindranath Tagore's "Dakghar", rechristened "Walking to the Sun". In this production, she played the protagonist, Amal, and received widespread acclaim from both the audience and critics. Her performance was even featured in Verve magazine's November 2010 issue.

Manasi then transitioned to the world of cinema, commencing with Nupur Asthana's "Mujhse Fraandship karoge", produced by Y Films. In this film, she played the strong-willed character of Neha. Her subsequent film release was "Student of the Year", directed by Karan Johar. In this movie, she portrayed the character of Shruti Pathak, a driven and ambitious individual. Her performance in "Student of the Year" was highly praised by both critics and the audience.

Manasi's upcoming film, "Charlie ke Chakker mein", is scheduled to release in 2014. In this film, she plays the character of Nina, a struggling actor from Bandra. The movie boasts an impressive cast, including Naseeruddin Shah, Amit Sial, and Anand Tiwari.

In addition to her filmography, Manasi has also appeared in numerous television commercials. Furthermore, she has featured in channel promos for UTV Bindass, Nestea, King Khan festival for 'Set Max', directed by Nidhin Anthony, and a music video titled "Phoolon ki tarah" by Jagjit Gulzar, directed by Anand Surapur.
