Biography

Maged El Kedwany, a celebrated Egyptian film and television actor, was born in 1967 in the bustling city of Shubra, Cairo, but his childhood was spent in Kuwait, where he resided until the tender age of 18.

As he pursued his passion for design at the esteemed Faculty of Fine Arts, he concurrently embarked on his professional acting career by performing in amateur theatrical productions, a move that would ultimately lead to his casting in various television shows, including the critically acclaimed "Qanfad" (Hedgehog) and "Nahnu al Nazre el-Shook".

Throughout his illustrious career, Maged has had the privilege of working on dozens of films, including some of the most iconic movies of the 1990s, such as "Afareet el-Asphalt" (Asphalt Ghosts) in 1996 and "Saidi fe Gaea al-Amrikeya" (Saidi at the American University in Cairo) in 1998.
