Lorena David, a multifaceted filmmaker from Los Angeles, has made a significant impact in the industry by simultaneously producing, directing, and editing a diverse range of feature films, documentaries, short films, and television shows. Her entrepreneurial spirit was evident even during her time at UC San Diego, where she co-founded a film production company, laying the groundwork for her future success in Hollywood.
In partnership with Mark Roberts, Lorena produced 12 feature films, with four of those being directorial projects. However, when the economic downturn affected the independent filmmaking industry, she adapted by expanding her skill set to include editing reality shows. Additionally, she took on the role of Executive Producer for the car competition series "My Ride Rules" on SPEED and the paranormal special "Ghostly Lovers" on Travel Channel.
Lorena's editing career subsequently flourished, and she has since worked on programs for prominent networks such as SPIKE, E!, VH1, ABC Family, CNBC, SPEED, BRAVO, FoodNetwork, TLC, and A&E.
As of 2020, Lorena is developing a show centered around internet scambaiting, featuring YouTube personality Rosie Okumura. Concurrently, she is editing episodes of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" and "Beverly Hills" for BRAVO TV, and enjoys spending time with her loyal bulldog companion, Humphrey.
