Levon Panek's academic journey began at Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts, where he pursued a degree in managerial economics and supplemented his studies with a minor in quantitative perspectives. In a peculiar turn of events, he was exposed to screenwriting as an elective, and it was during this semester that he had the privilege of being taught by renowned acting coach Gerry Speca, who had previously mentored notable actors such as Ben and Casey Affleck, as well as Matt Damon, at Cambridge Rindge & Latin.
As fate would have it, halfway through the semester, Speca approached Panek and expressed his admiration for the young student's potential, suggesting that he should attend open call auditions. Panek seized the opportunity and attended an open call for "The Town," where he was subsequently selected to portray a bouncer in "The Social Network." Following a brief hiatus from acting, during which he worked as a strength and conditioning coach, Panek re-entered the acting world in 2018, booking two speaking roles: Donald in "Love, Weddings, & Other Disasters," and State Trooper Dennis in the Showtime series "Dexter: New Blood."
It was at this juncture that his acting coach advised him to explore stunts as a means of accelerating his career as an action actor. Panek took this guidance to heart and went on to perform all the fight scenes as the Big Daddy character in season 11 of "American Horror Story," and engaged in on-screen battles with notable actors Liam Neeson, Stephen Lang, and Lucas Till. His most notable television performance to date is his portrayal of James 'Goliath' Kenneally in "Law & Order: Organized Crime," season 3, episodes 13 and 14.
