Letia Clouston is a renowned film director, boasting an impressive portfolio of ten feature films that have been showcased internationally on prominent networks such as Hallmark, Lifetime, Starz, Warner Bros. VOD, Disney Channel LA, UPtv, and NBC/Universal UK.
Her most recent feature, "A Christmas for the Books", made a significant impact by becoming the number one scripted cable program for its premiere night on Hallmark. Furthermore, her horror feature, "The 6th Friend", has garnered numerous accolades, including Best Feature, Best Director, and Best Actress awards on the festival circuit, and was recently distributed theatrically nationwide.
In addition to her film work, Letia's PSA, "In One Instant", has won three Telly Awards and is now being utilized in schools across the country. She has also directed an award-winning Off-Broadway one-man show, "The 7th and 11th Dimensions", which took home the Best One Man Show award at the United Solo Festival.
Letia's sci-fi series, "Broken Toy", and her superhero action short, "The Demon in the Dark", have both received considerable attention and praise from critics and audiences alike.
Born and raised in Paducah, Kentucky, Letia pursued her passion for the arts by earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre from Stephens College and receiving classical training at the British American Dramatic Academy at Oxford University. She then relocated to Los Angeles to earn a Master of Fine Arts degree in Directing from the American Film Institute, where she directed several short films and her award-winning thesis film, "AB Negative".
