Lee Armstrong is a co-owner of Images In Motion Inc., a renowned company specializing in the art of puppetry for television and film, with a physical presence in Sonoma, California.
Born and raised in the picturesque province of Nova Scotia, Canada, Armstrong's early life laid the foundation for her future success. As she transitioned to adulthood, she relocated to the bustling city of Toronto, where she enrolled at the University of Toronto to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater.
Armstrong's academic pursuits were accompanied by her passion for puppetry, which she honed through a decade-long stint as a puppeteer on national television. Her exceptional skills and dedication earned her two prestigious Canada Council grants, which enabled her to further her education by studying acting in New York and music/theater in San Francisco.
Following her stint on the iconic children's television show Fraggle Rock, which premiered in 1983, Armstrong made the move to the San Francisco area, where she would go on to produce and create a plethora of videos for Images In Motion. Her tireless efforts and innovative approach to puppetry have been recognized with an impressive three regional Emmy Awards, solidifying her reputation as a producer and puppeteer of exceptional caliber.
