Notable recent accomplishments include choreographing and performing in the captivating production of The Seven Deadly Sins: Gluttony, commissioned by the esteemed Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival, as well as embarking on a tour with the renowned British group DV8 Physical Theater, showcasing their remarkable work at the Olympic Arts Festival in Sydney, London, and Hong Kong.
Prior to this, the artist received a prestigious 2002 New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship and was honored with a 1995 New York Dance and Performance "Bessie" Award, recognizing his influential presence in modern dance over a decade with the esteemed Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company.
During his tenure with the company, he created notable roles in Still/Here and Last Supper at Uncle Tom's Cabin, which premiered at the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) and was later broadcast on PBS. His extensive repertoire also includes numerous other productions, such as Journey Beyond the West at BAM, the title role in Golem for the Henson International Puppet Festival, and recurring appearances with Keely Garfield's Sinister Slapstick, as well as at the iconic club Jackie 60.
One of his solo shows, When the World Smells Like Bacon, premiered at PS 122 in 2001, further solidifying his reputation as a versatile and innovative choreographer.
