As a dedicated producer, Larissa is committed to championing powerful stories that feature women at the forefront. Following her experience as a production manager on a series of films in Malta, she discovered a passion for working behind the camera and went on to study producing at the London Film Academy. Her short film, Noah, starring Louisa Harland (Derry Girls, Renegade Nell),received widespread recognition after screening at prestigious festivals affiliated with the Baftas and Oscars.
Larissa's feature film, Morning Star, featuring Ben Lamb (The Gilded Age),was proudly presented by Screen Malta and the Malta Tourism Authority and has already garnered awards following its international festival screenings. Currently, she has two short films in post-production and multiple feature film and television projects in development.
As the founder and director of Nokkla Productions, Larissa operates her production company from both Malta and London, bringing her extensive expertise and creative vision to a wide range of projects.
