Lam's life story commences in Hanoi, Vietnam, where he first took his first breaths. Eighteen years later, he bid farewell to his homeland and embarked on a new journey, setting foot in the United States.
Following the culmination of his doctorate degree, Lam made the bold decision to relocate to Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. This move marked the beginning of a new chapter in his life, as he assumed the role of a Marketing Professor while nurturing his long-standing passion for the world of cinema.
