Krystian was born in Clovis, New Mexico, to a family of half Mexican-American descent. However, her family's relocation to West Virginia before she turned one year old had a profound impact on her life. She spent her childhood in the small town of Clarksburg, West Virginia, where she developed a strong sense of community and compassion for others.
At the tender age of 15, Krystian demonstrated an extraordinary level of maturity and initiative by founding a nonprofit organization, Shining S.C.A.R.S. Inc. This remarkable endeavor aimed to empower children and teenagers to overcome the stigma associated with their scars and differences. Her tireless efforts as a children's author and TEDx speaker have earned her widespread recognition, including the Mom's Choice Silver Award for her book, Shining Scars.
Krystian's academic achievements are equally impressive, as she graduated from West Virginia University with a bachelor's degree in Journalism. Her experience in local commercials in West Virginia and national publications for her pageant participation and work with Shining S.C.A.R.S. Inc. further solidified her reputation as a multifaceted individual.
Beyond her work in the nonprofit sector, Krystian discovered a natural aptitude for storytelling and acting. She made her film debut in the movie The Zombie Club and subsequently signed with The Talent Group Pittsburgh. Her extensive filmography includes roles in over three JC Film projects, with her latest film, Break Every Chain, receiving widespread acclaim and garnering over one million views worldwide. The film's Spanish release further cemented its global appeal.
In June 2022, Krystian's crowning achievement came when she was named Miss West Virginia USA 2022 in Buckhannon, West Virginia. She went on to compete in the Miss USA pageant in Reno, Nevada, where she was selected as one of the 15 top semi-finalists in the country. Although the pageant was later embroiled in controversy regarding rigging allegations, Krystian's reputation as a dedicated and compassionate individual remains unwavering.
