Klement Tinaj is a multifaceted individual, distinguished for his impressive career as an actor, martial artist, and director, with a special affinity for creating captivating martial arts action films. Born in 1990, Tinaj's childhood was marked by perpetual movement, as he attended five different schools in the United States and Europe before finally settling in Yonkers, New York in 2005.
During his high school years, Tinaj developed a passion for acting, which led him to abandon his plans of becoming a farmer. At the tender age of sixteen, he landed the role of Mr. Kirby in the show "You Can't Take It With You". This marked the beginning of his acting career, as he went on to be cast in three more shows at Lincoln High School in Yonkers, New York: "Lysistrada 2008", "Room Service", and "Julius Caesar".
Tinaj's academic pursuits took him to Five Towns College in 2009, where he continued to hone his acting skills, starring in numerous productions such as "Macbeth", "The Full Mounty", "Golden Parachutes", "Aladdin", "Dora", "Twelve Angry Men", and "Ragtime". His range and versatility as an actor were further showcased through his roles in "Stolen", "Extra Special", "American Dating Catastrophes Vol. 11", "The Table", and "X's & O's", all of which were outside of the college's productions.
In addition to his acting endeavors, Tinaj has also been dedicated to the martial art of Tae KwonDo, training and teaching students of all levels. This passion for martial arts led him to create the films "The Attacker" and "Last Chance", which he wrote, produced, and starred in. His impressive skills in Tae KwonDo have also been utilized in his work as a fight choreographer.
Tinaj's creative output extends beyond film and stage, as he has also written, directed, and produced the play "Twenty Days", which premiered at the Secret Rose Theatre in North Hollywood, California in 2015. The show went on to travel to the McCadden Theatre in Hollywood, California. Furthermore, he directed, produced, and fight choreographed the play "Some Kind of Love Story", written by Arthur Miller, which opened at the Dix Hills Performing Arts Center and later traveled to New York City's off-Broadway stage at the Producers Club Theaters.
Tinaj has also shared his expertise as a teacher, having instructed Art of Combat at the New York Educational Theatre Festival in 2012, hosted by the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, and sponsored by the same institution. He continues to teach Art of Combat in Los Angeles.
Throughout his career, Tinaj has achieved significant milestones, earning his B.F.A in Theatre Arts in December 2012 and his MFA in Acting for Film in January 2015. From humble beginnings as a supporting cast member to starring roles in major films such as Fast & Furious 7, The Second Coming of Christ, and The Good, the Bad, and the Dead, Klement Tinaj has established himself as a talented and versatile artist with a wide range of creative pursuits.
