Actress, producer, writer, comedian, and CEO of Latin Hollywood Films Inc. and Omni Cultural TV and Omni Cultural TV Fest, Kiki Melendez has had a remarkable career spanning multiple fields. She began her journey in comedy while living near the Comic Strip in NYC, where she soon became one of America's top female performers, touring the nation with other top comedians.
Melendez created the first bi-lingual entertainment show "Kiki Desde Hollywood" which aired on Galavision National Network, and the ALL Female, cross-cultural "Kiki Melendez' Hot Tamales Live!" which aired from 2009-2011 on Showtime Networks. She also created the variety comedy show "Locos Y Contentos" for Estrella TV National Network.
In 2015, her Docu-Comedy, "Journey of A Female Comic" qualified for the 2015 Academy Awards and became part of the Permanent Core Collection at the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences Library. In 2017, Latin Hollywood Films produced a full season (13 Episodes) of "Kiki Mobile" America's Mobile Talk Show that aired on A+E Networks' FYI and was distributed by RMVISTAR worldwide.
Melendez co-founded Omni Cultural TV Fest in partnership with NATPE in 2019, which earned a 5-star festival rating. In 2020, she created Omni Cultural TV Fest Virtual Pre-Show, featuring sneak peaks of the projects and creators selected by OCTVF, which received thousands of views per episode.
A pioneer in the field, Melendez debuted her first book "Chase Hope and Faith" in 2021, adding author to her many talents and credits. She has also been involved in the development of the first ever all-day film festival populated by Avatar Technology, held on December 8th 2020 via StreamWorld Innovations, a non-profit educational platform.
