Kevin was born in Taipei, Taiwan, the capital city of the island nation. His early start in the entertainment industry began at the tender age of five, when he was cast as a child model for a bicycle commercial that aired on national television, showcasing his talents to a wide audience. Two years later, at the age of six, Kevin made his television debut on the popular Taiwanese game show "Happy Sunday", further solidifying his presence in the industry.
However, Kevin's family immigrated to the United States in 1997, leaving behind his childhood friends and relatives. Despite the challenges of adapting to a new environment, Kevin remained committed to his dream of becoming an actor. He attended Howard Community College, where he began networking with local actors, actresses, and industry professionals in the Baltimore/Washington metro area.
Kevin's extensive filmography includes appearances in numerous independent films, such as "Bullet of Life", "Bloody Good Ratings", "The Last Cry", "Livelihood", and "The Projectionist", the latter of which was selected for the prestigious Tribeca Film Festival. He has also appeared in various television shows and network stations, including National Geographic, History Channel, FOX, ABC, HBO, and MTV.
In addition to his film and television work, Kevin has appeared in several commercials, including campaigns for Back to School, Comcast, Computertraining.com, and Carmax. His notable roles include a day player part in "Eyes of the Roshi", starring Eric Roberts and Ethan Marten, as well as lead roles in the short films "A Time Before" and "Behind Closed Doors", both of which were submitted to the HBO Visionary competition.
