Kevin Jiggetts was born at historic Freedmen's Hospital, now Howard University's School of Communications, in Washington, DC. This event marked the beginning of a life that would be filled with a deep passion for the performing arts. It was during his childhood that Kevin first discovered his love for acting, after watching the 1975 film Breakout starring the legendary Charles Bronson.
As he entered the 7th grade, Kevin found himself enrolled in Miss Neville's acting class, where he was surrounded by like-minded individuals who shared his passion for the craft. However, the pressures of peer opinion eventually led Kevin to drop the class, and he was forced to secretly harbor his dreams of becoming an actor.
After completing his high school education, Kevin made the bold decision to join the United States Marine Corps, where he faced numerous challenges and was awarded numerous medals and ribbons, including a Purple Heart and a Combat Action. Upon his honorable discharge, Kevin opted for another challenge, this time taking on the role of a Corrections Officer within the D.C. Department of Corrections.
During his seven-and-a-half-year tenure in this position, Kevin's passion for acting continued to grow, and he eventually found himself enrolled in his first workshop under the guidance of Cam Magee. This marked the beginning of a new chapter in Kevin's life, as he began to pursue his dreams of becoming a professional actor.
In the years that followed, Kevin went on to study at various prestigious institutions, including the National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts, The Shakespeare Theater, and The Actors Studio, Inc in New York City. With his extensive training and experience, Kevin has amassed a impressive list of theater credits and is now gaining momentum in his TV and film appearances.
