Biography

Kenyetta Lethridge is a multi-talented individual with a passion for education and the arts. As a writer, director, and actress, she has made a name for herself in the off-Broadway scene, earning a 2011 NAACP Award for her performance in "Transitions" produced by the Robey Theatre Company.

With a dedication to educating young people, Lethridge has developed several arts education programs in the Los Angeles area, teaching language arts, theatre, poetry, speech and debate, and creative writing to students of various grade levels and backgrounds.

In 2012, her production "Innocent Flesh" made its off-Broadway debut at The Actor's Temple Theatre, where she shone as writer, director, and producer. The production also gained notoriety during its limited run in Los Angeles at the Zephyr Theatre.

Lethridge has produced several stage productions in both New York and Los Angeles, including "For Colored Girls who Have Considered Suicidewhen the Rainbow is Enuf", "Company Policy", "Beautiful Black Boys" (documentary),"Talida" (short film),"BuyBuyChild" (charity event),"Revolve 1 and 2" (charity events),and more.

Some of her notable stage credits include the national tour of "Portraits of Courage" produced by the Will and Company Theatre, "Butterflies of Uganda" at the Greenway Court Theatre, "Crumbs from the Table of Joy", and "The Crucible".

In addition to her work in the arts, Lethridge has also made appearances in film and television, including "Mr. Sophistication", "Fast Lane", "Lover", and the animated show "American Dad". She has also assistant directed "AGAPE: 25th Anniversary" and "Truth Be Told: a fundraising event to benefit premiere oncology".

Lethridge's recent off-Broadway directorial debut with "Innocent Flesh" marks a significant milestone in her career, solidifying her position as a talented and dedicated individual in the world of the arts.
