Kenny Robinson, a Canadian Comedy legend, has been thrilling audiences for over 25 years with his unique brand of "in your face" comedy and social commentary. This talented comedian has been touring across North America, winning both critical acclaim and audience admiration with his irreverent, profane, and opinionated style.
Robinson has had the privilege of performing at some of the most renowned comedy festivals, including the Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival, the Laffapalooza Urban Comedy Festival in Atlanta, and the CBC Winnipeg Comedy Festival. He has also headlined at notable comedy clubs such as Zanies, L.A.'s Comedy Store, and Improv, and has had his own CBC television special, "Comics".
As the founder of the Nubian Disciples All Black Comedy Revue, now in its 11th year, and Toronto's Soul'd Out Comedy Festival, Kenny Robinson has made a significant impact on the comedy world. He has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in comedy, including Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, Jim Carrey, Norm McDonald, Russell Peters, Robert Schimmel, Tommy Davidson, Tommy Chong, Margaret Cho, Paul Mooney, Lenny Clark, Phyllis Diller, and the late, great, Sam Kinison.
Throughout his career, Robinson has received numerous accolades, including co-hosting The Gemini Awards and being twice nominated for his groundbreaking CBC television special "Thick and Thin". He is also the creator, writer, and host of the Comedy Networks edgy show "After Hours", and for two years, he was the co-host of FLOW 93.5 "Morning Rush" radio show.
