Kenan Imirzalioglu, a talented individual, was born on June 18th, 1974, in Ankara. He completed his elementary education in Ankara at the tender age of 12, after which he moved on to middle school and high school in the same city.
Imirzalioglu's academic pursuits took him to Istanbul, where he enrolled in Yildiz Technical University, graduating with a Bachelor of Mathematics degree.
Before embarking on his acting career, Kenan made headlines in the modeling world. In 1997, he participated in the Best Model of Turkey finals, winning the contest and subsequently qualifying for the Best Model of the World contest. He also emerged victorious in this prestigious competition, earning the title "Best Model of The World" and becoming the first Turkish model to achieve this feat.
This remarkable success paved the way for Imirzalioglu's entry into the world of acting. He was offered a leading role in the TV series Deli Yurek, which was the first Turkish TV series to be exported internationally in 1999. The series aired between 1999 and 2002, and he also appeared in the movie version, Deli Yurek: Boomerang Cehennemi, in 2001.
After completing his projects in Turkey, Kenan traveled to the United States for acting and language education. Upon his return, he joined the cast of the TV series Alacakaranlik, which aired between 2003 and 2005. During this period, he also appeared in the movie Yazi Tura, which won 16 awards at various film festivals, including the prestigious "Best Actor" award at the Adana Altin Koza Festival.
Between 2005 and 2007, Imirzalioglu took on the role of Mehmet Kosovali in the TV series Aci Hayat, followed by his leading roles in the movies Son Osmanli Yandim Ali in 2006 and Kabadayi in 2007.
In 2009, he started his most successful and popular project to date, Ezel, which became the highest-rated TV series in Turkish television history between 2009 and 2011. He continued his successful career with Ejder Kapani in 2010 and Uzun Hikaye in 2012.
In 2012, Imirzalioglu began his fifth TV series, Karadayi, playing the role of Mahir Kara. After this series, he appeared in the movie Cingoz Recai in 2017, followed by the TV series Fatih. This was one of the most budgeted TV series in Turkish television history, in which he portrayed the character of Fatih Sultan Mehmet, a significant figure in Ottoman and Turkish history.
Currently, Kenan Imirzalioglu is hosting the longest-running TV contest, Kim Milyoner Olmak Ister, and has also joined the cast of the TV series Alef for 8 episodes, which will be broadcast on the online TV platform Blu TV.
