Ken VerCammen was born on August 23, 1969, in New Bedford, Massachusetts, to Carol and Ken VerCammen, and he has an older sister, Colleen, who is now married and goes by the last name Chiron. He attended elementary school at Holy Family-Holy Name Elementary School and later went to Bishop Stang High School.
After completing his high school education, VerCammen attended American International College (AIC) for two semesters before moving to South Florida, where he enrolled at Palm Beach Community College (PBCC). However, he decided to leave college to pursue his acting career and open his own business, Dream Romm Incorporated.
VerCammen's early acting credits include roles in "T's Lounge Show," Harmony Street (1992),and Creep (1995). He received advice from his friends and peers to move to Los Angeles, which he did at the age of 28. To make ends meet, he worked as a private investigator between acting jobs.
In Los Angeles, VerCammen has had notable roles on television, including Todd on The Bold and the Beautiful (1987) and Agent Harland on Robbery Homicide Division (2002). He has also made his big-screen debut in the motion picture Shrink Rap (2003).
In addition to his acting career, VerCammen has written screenplays for several films, including Runaway Weekend, Full Circle, and Your Time is Up.
