Kelly is a two-time Emmy nominee and one-time winner for her captivating portrayal of Dr. Britt Westbourne on General Hospital. Following her Emmy win, Kelly was approached to reprise her fan-favorite role as Eva in ABC's Station 19, and she also made a notable appearance in an episode of the latest series of Magnum P.I. on NBC.
Growing up in a small town in Texas, Kelly discovered her comfort in the spotlight by joining the cheer squad, but she was more than just a cheerleader. She was an accomplished athlete, exceling in multiple sports including soccer, volleyball, softball, basketball, and track. Kelly's academic pursuits led her to graduate after just three years, after which she relocated to Los Angeles with a modeling contract. Throughout her experience in the modeling world, Kelly faced both the highs and lows, which ultimately led her to explore her passion for acting.
Kelly began taking acting classes and secured bookings for various commercials, including Apple, Audi, Union Bay, McGregor, and Levi's. Her work with headlining videos for the renowned DJ David Guetta sparked a revelation that acting was her true calling. Kelly's first award was won at the 48 Hour Film Festival in 2012, where she was named Runner-up Best Actress. Inspired by her father's words of encouragement, "you're the toughest person I know," Kelly developed a love for comedy and expanded her artistic craft by studying with The Groundlings. She also hosted sketch shows at The Second City and was a part of the Sketch Group "Tickle Crisps," which performed in both NYC and LA.
Kelly has ambitious plans to host a TV show and game show, and she is also considering directing. When not pursuing her acting career, Kelly splits her time between London and the US. She enjoys spending her downtime singing karaoke, cooking Italian meals for friends, and playing with her beloved dog, Whiskey.
