Kaori Ravi's early life was marked by a nomadic existence, with his family relocating frequently due to his mother's health concerns and his father's career changes, all while being nurtured on the beautiful island of Martinique. It was in 2015 that he first expressed his artistic inclinations, securing permission to adorn the shop window with his drawings, a creative outlet he continued to pursue for several months. As his artistic talents blossomed, he sought guidance from the renowned actress and stage performer, Rita Ravier, who had already made a name for herself in the industry through her work on the film "Battledream Chronicle". Under her mentorship, Kaori's acting skills began to flourish, and his performances in the school production of "La Terre qui ne voulait plus tourner" by Françoise du Chaxel left a lasting impression on those who had the privilege of witnessing them. When the casting call went out for the film "Opal", with the added stipulation that all candidates must be able to read for their parts in English, a rare occurrence in the predominantly French-speaking territory, Kaori seized the opportunity, successfully auditioning for the role at the tender age of 14. The phenomenon of child actors in Martinican film is rare enough, but for a young actor to take on a foreign language part, it's a truly extraordinary occurrence.
