Justin Randall Timberlake was born on January 31, 1981, in Memphis, Tennessee, to Lynn (Bomar) and Randall Timberlake, whose own father was a Baptist minister. At the age of 11, he made his television debut on the show Star Search in 1983, showcasing his talents despite not ultimately winning the competition. This early exposure to the spotlight did not deter him from pursuing his dreams, and he went on to appear on The All New Mickey Mouse Club in 1989 alongside fellow future stars such as Britney Spears, Ryan Gosling, Keri Russell, Christina Aguilera, and JC Chasez, who would later become his bandmate in *NSYNC.
At the age of 14, Justin Timberlake became a member of the highly successful boy band *NSYNC, releasing their self-titled debut album in 1998. The group's subsequent albums enjoyed immense commercial success, cementing their place in the music industry.
