Julien Doré, a talented individual from the Cévennes region, embarked on a creative journey by attending the Beaux-Arts in Nîmes for five years. Prior to his solo success, he was a member of the music groups Dig Up Elvis and The Jean D'Ormesson's. His breakthrough came when he won the Nouvelle Star tele-hook competition in 2007, showcasing his unique talent.
Doré's first album, "Ersatz", was released, and it earned him a prestigious award at the 2009 Victoires de la musique ceremony, taking home the Revelation Album and Video Clip of the Year categories for his song "Limits". This accomplishment was followed by the release of his second album, "Bichon", in 2011, and then "LOVE" in 2013.
The album "LOVE" received widespread acclaim, winning two additional Victoires de la Musique awards and catapulting Doré to stardom. He continued to release new music, including the album "Aimée" in September 2020, which has already sold over 250,000 copies.
In addition to his successful music career, Doré has also explored his comedic side, appearing in various TV shows such as Pop Redemption and Dix pour Cent.
