Two folk dance troupe members, Dorothée and Nicolas, meet at the Confolens Festival and fall in love at first sight. After the festival, Nicolas unexpectedly moves to Dorothée's village, and they're convinced their love will be perfect. However, reality sets in, and disagreements, betrayals, and complications threaten their relationship, leading to a tumultuous comedy.
