Biography

Julie Lynch, a renowned screenwriter and founder of Sandalphon Entertainment, is driven by the conviction that great stories not only entertain, but also empower and inspire positive change. As a commissioned and optioned screenwriter by Oscar and Emmy-winning producers, Julie has garnered recognition for her exceptional work.

Her legal thriller, The Truthsayers, received a 9/10 rating on The Blacklist and was invited to the prestigious Black List Screenwriting Lab, with Oscar-winner Viola Davis and JuVee Productions producing alongside Clay Pecorin and RainMaker Films.

Julie has also been tapped by Viola Davis, JuVee Productions, and Everywhere Studios to adapt Rachel Lloyd's acclaimed memoir, Girls Like Us, and is writing a true crime drama for veteran producer Robert Katz.

Rockhill Studios has hired Julie to write a screenplay based on Hanna Bohman's heroic journey to Syria to join an all-woman Kurdish army and fight ISIS, with Rockhill Studios and Brittany Yost producing.

Julie's first screenplay, Remembering Sex, which she also directed, starred Oscar-nominated Amy Ryan, Tony-nominated David Marshall Grant, and Garrett Dilahunt. The film premiered at TIFF to critical acclaim, was an official selection of SXSW, and was acquired by Showtime, Netflix, and Hulu.

Additionally, Julie's biopic on the artist, Rosamond, was optioned by Oscar-winner Ron Schwary and is being produced by Sandalphon Entertainment.

Award-winning writer/director, Doug Atchison, hired Julie to write the life story of visionary Debrah Constance.

Emmy-winner Armand Assante commissioned Julie to write a dramedy about war veterans with PTSD.

Julie's thriller, Dark Desire, was commissioned by director Armand Mastroianni and starred Kelly Lynch and Michael Nouri. It was bought by Lifetime and voted most popular thriller of the year by viewers.

Julie studied acting with New York legends Wynn Handman and Fred Kareman, and is represented by Ryan Saul at The Cartel and Darren Trattner at Jackoway Tyerman.
