Josh Epstein is a multifaceted individual, boasting a wide range of accomplishments as a writer, producer, and actor. His professional journey has taken him across the globe, with his films garnering a total of 39 Leo Award nominations.
In recent years, Epstein has made significant contributions to the world of film, penning the script for Astrid's Deathlist, a medieval thriller comedy, in collaboration with Good Question Media and Elevation, as well as re-imagining the classic film Youngblood with Aircraft Pictures. He has also rewritten multiple studio features, served as an executive producer for both film and television, and is currently developing television projects, many of which are in partnership with his collaborator, Kyle Rideout.
Their latest film, Adventures in Public School, stars Judy Greer and premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, going on to open in the top ten at TIFF and receive theatrical releases in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Japan before being distributed on Netflix, Crave, and HBO. As an executive producer, Epstein has overseen the production of Re: Uniting, which recently won a leading seven Leo Awards, including best picture, actor, director, and script, and secured a sale with Gravitas for US distribution.
