Josh Bishop is a multifaceted creative individual, excelling as a writer, director, and producer based in New York. His early life was marked by frequent relocations, with his family settling in various locations across the United States, including California, Alabama, Colorado, and Arkansas. However, his life took a dramatic turn on his twelfth birthday, when his family made the bold decision to relocate to Rotterdam, a city situated in the Netherlands, often referred to as Holland.
Three years later, the family embarked on yet another journey, this time settling in Antwerp, a city located in the Flemish region of Belgium. It was during his time in Antwerp that Bishop had the opportunity to study art and film, laying the groundwork for his future endeavors in the creative industry. As he honed his skills, he eventually began working within the Belgian film industry, gaining valuable experience and building a network of contacts.
In 2002, Bishop made the move to New York, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his life and career. It was here that he would eventually premiere his debut feature documentary, "Made in Japan," at the esteemed SXSW festival in April 2015.
