Joseph, a driven individual with a passion for acting, grew up in the midst of the East Coast as the son of an Electrical Designer and a Teacher. Despite his parents' professions, Joseph's dream of becoming a professional actor seemed like an unrealistic goal. However, after years of soul-searching and prayerful consideration, he could no longer ignore the strong calling he felt to pursue a career in filmmaking.
Once he made the realization, Joseph dedicated himself to training and immersed himself in the world of acting. He began studying at the Actor's Group, a rigorous training studio in North Carolina, where he learned the "Method" acting technique. This training allowed him to focus on the subtle nuances, raw emotions, and fine details required to move an audience.
As Joseph became proficient in this natural yet captivating methodology, he quickly started booking a variety of characters in Television, Commercials, and Films. His episodic TV bookings include guest roles on NBC's "Revolution", Lifetime Network's "Drop Dead Diva", and the CW's "The Originals". He also played a supporting role in the National Geographic Channel's record-breaking TV Movie "Killing Kennedy", which was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award.
Joseph has secured numerous roles in films as well. Notably, his portrayal of "John" in the Academy Award-nominated film "Alone, Yet Not Alone" is set for its official theatrical release in June. Along with his many acting credits, he has recently expanded his resume to include credits as a Writer and Associate Producer.
In his personal life, Joseph is a devoted husband to his loving bride of 13 years and a busy father to their beautiful young daughter. This experience has expanded his resume even further, as he has developed skills such as singing lullabies for hours without stopping, professional-level swaddling, master napping, producing an infinite number of hugs and kisses, becoming the tickle monster, and snuggle/cuddle aficionado.
