John Scalco, a native of New Orleans, embarked on a journey of self-discovery at the tender age of 19, leaving behind the vibrant city to relocate to the sun-kissed West Coast, where he arrived in Burbank, California.
As he navigated the city's bustling streets, Scalco found himself immersed in the world of entertainment, initially working on national commercials, hit television shows, and major motion pictures, albeit in small roles and under-five seconds of screen time. Despite this humble beginning, Scalco's aspirations for greater success remained unwavering.
As he delved deeper into the realm of film, Scalco became resolute in his pursuit of mastering the intricacies of the industry, both in front of and behind the camera. His journey began with an internship under the guidance of the legendary Freddie Fields, a renowned figure in the industry. This formative experience, coupled with Scalco's unwavering work ethic, ultimately led him to secure his next internship with the illustrious Sean Connery and his production company, Fountain Bridge Films.
Equipped with a Bachelor's Degree in Theater, years of acting classes, and experience working under the tutelage of esteemed producers, Scalco's innate passion for the craft eventually propelled him towards producing his own material.
