Johan, a Norwegian-American actor, is based in New York and has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry. His most notable role to date is as the 16-year-old Andrew Zbyszek on the CBS television series "Bull" in 2019. Prior to this, he had a featured role on HBO's "Boardwalk Empire" in 2012.
In recent years, Johan has appeared in a number of student short and feature films. Some of his notable credits include "A Parable for Winter" in 2020, "Running in the Wild" in 2020, "He Said, She Said" in 2019, "Scarlet Memory" in 2019, "Big Love 'Lil Town" in 2019, and "Tell Me Why" in 2018. He has also appeared in an Armani Code commercial in 2019.
Johan has undergone extensive training in the craft of acting. He has been training at The Deborah Kym Studio in New York City for the past two years and is a regular attendee of the Friday Night Master Class. He has also been trained by Todd Thaler at The Stella Adler Studio of Acting. Prior to his formal training, Johan graduated from The University at Albany in 2018 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in both Communication and Theatre Performance.
Despite his American upbringing, Johan is proud of his Scandinavian heritage and holds dual citizenship of Norway and the United States. He is fluent in both languages and honors his roots through his work. Johan comes from a long line of Broadway actors and producers and was born and raised in New York City.
