JODI graduated from film school at New York University, where she initially began her career in theatre, film, television, and commercials. Shortly after, she directed the award-winning short film A LIMITED ENGAGEMENT. Following her move to Los Angeles, Jodi received the prestigious Disney Directing Fellowship, working in both multi-camera and single-camera episodic television. She has directed episodes of ABC's BOY MEETS WORLD and YOU WISH.
Most recently, Jodi directed the biopic story, PRISONER OF LOVE (Tubi),which tells the story of a corrections officer who broke her convict boyfriend out of prison and went on the run for 11 days in the spring of 2022. The film stars Nicholle Tom and Adam Mayfield. In 2023, Jodi directed the whodunnit BELOW DECK DECEIT, starring Shelley Sterling and Sarah Jane Morris, and is currently in post-production on her film FIT FOR MURDER, the true story of Craig Titus and Kelly Ryan, body-building royalty who got caught up in the murder of their assistant.
Jodi also directed the thriller I'LL BE WATCHING, starring Janel Parrish (Pretty Little Liars),which aired on Lifetime Worldwide. She is working to bring her passion project, #Sibtrip!, an original screenplay, into production in 2024.
As a Producing Director for the Syfy/Netflix hit Z NATION for all five seasons, Jodi directed multiple episodes and penned several of those she directed. Jodi is proud to be one of the 7% of female "Helmers" in Hollywood, and is as comfortable with comedy as she is with drama.
Jodi's romantic Christmas comedy A SNOWGLOBE CHRISTMAS is an annual favorite, starring Alicia Witt and Donald Faison. Her poignant comedy, CALL WAITING, was the Official Selection of 9 major film festivals and won the BEST COMEDY award at the Santa Barbara and Tiburon International Film Festivals. It was recently released worldwide on Amazon Prime. Jodi also has a long list of producer credits, including Lisa Kudrow's Emmy-nominated WEB THERAPY and the Netflix hit Black Summer.
Jodi resides in Los Angeles and is most proud of her daughter, Logan, a graduate of the Creative Producing program at Chapman University, Dodge School of Film and Television, and the youngest agent ever promoted at the Creative Artists Agency in Beverly Hills.
