Shot in English, with a local crew and international cast, the film starred James Cosmo, Timothy Gibbs, Natasha Alam, Eric Roberts, and Sanchez himself.
Thanks to his work on Bunker: Project 12, Sanchez made history as the first Canarian film with international distribution, and his efforts helped establish the Canary Islands, and specifically Tenerife, as a haven for the film industry. The islands have since become a popular location for big-budget productions, including Hollywood blockbusters like Fast & Furious 6 (2013),In the Heart of the Sea (2015),Clash of the Titans (2010),Wrath of the Titans (2012),and Jason Bourne (2016).
